This little skyline is an architectural medley of Newcastle’s rich past and fabulous present, from the Victorian Romanesque arches, to the 1930s art deco herringbone brickwork, to the 1970s brutalist building now transformed into a luxury hotel. To me, this is quinessentially Newcastle.
