Frequently Asked Questions?

How much is shipping?

Prints and original paintings include free shipping Australia wide. Gift products have a flat rate of $10 at checkout.

What's your refund policy?

I don't accept change of mind returns. If your order arrives damaged, take a photo straight away and email hello@sophiecorks.com and I'll sort it out.

What is a limited edition print?

A fine art print is a strictly limited reproduction of one of my original paintings, made to a quality that'll outlast all of us. Each print is produced with archival inks on heavyweight cotton rag paper or canvas, comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and is limited to just 10 per design. Once an edition sells out, it doesn't come back.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Prints are made to order by my production partners Southern Buoy on the Mornington Peninsula. Unframed prints ship in 1-2 weeks. Framed prints take 2-4 weeks. You'll get an email with tracking details as soon as your order is on its way. Need it sooner? Email me at hello@sophiecorks.com and I'll see what I can do.

What about framing?

For canvas prints, I'd strongly recommend ordering yours framed. They arrive ready to hang in flooded gum timber, made from sustainable FSC certified timber, the same frames I use for my original paintings. Most people can't tell it's a print. I also try to keep framing prices as low as possible, so it'll likely be cheaper to frame through me than to frame locally.

Paper prints arrive unframed but are sized to fit standard frames. I love the range at Cooper & Co or Temple & Webster.

Framing should never cost more than the art, so either way I want to make it easy.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International orders aren't charged GST. Please note that customs fees may apply depending on your country and are the customer's responsibility. For international orders I'd recommend choosing a rolled unframed print, which travels better and can be stretched and framed locally. Framed items damaged in transit internationally aren't refundable.

How do I know if a print will suit my space?

Every print page includes the available sizes. If you're not sure, send me an email at hello@sophiecorks.com with a photo of your wall and the size you're considering and I can mock it up for you.

Can I visit the studio?

Yes, by appointment. Email me at hello@sophiecorks.com and we'll organise a time. If you're in Orange for the weekend, I'd love to meet you. I'm at 211-213 Lords Place, upstairs next to Lucetta Dining.

Do you do commissions?

I do, but my 2026 spots are full and they tend to book out quickly. Email hello@sophiecorks.com to join the waitlist and receive my commission information pack. I'll be in touch as soon as a spot opens up.

What if I want to give one as a gift?

Prints make brilliant gifts and ship free anywhere in Australia. I also have gift certificates available if you'd like to let someone choose their own piece. Drop me an email if you'd like help choosing something.

Do you run painting workshops?

Occasionally, yes. They're ticketed events with limited spots and they tend to sell out. I also offer private workshops for groups in my Orange studio. Sign up to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram @sophiecorks_art to hear about upcoming dates, or email hello@sophiecorks.com to ask about private bookings.

I saw something I loved but it's sold. Will you make another?

For originals, no. Each painting exists once. For prints, sold-out editions aren't reprinted. That said, new work comes out regularly. The best way to stay across it is to join the newsletter.

Any other questions? hello@sophiecorks.com is always the best place to reach me.
