About my collection:
Every summer of my childhood smells like chlorine, hot chips and watermelon. It sounds like cicadas and doing bombs in the pool.
Being a country kid, we spent long trips on the road to get to the ocean, so summer holidays felt like something you'd earned. This body of work is about the in-between moments from those trips, and the ones at home. They were simple and perfect.
And colour is at the core of it all, the bold choices and the soft ones, all deliberate.
My hope is that you can see a little of your own story in these works, and find the same glow in the ordinary that I do.
